Project Superintendent
About this role
A Project Superintendent position at IITA in Oyo for someone with civil engineering qualifications to lead on-site construction teams and ensure safety, quality and project delivery. The role targets experienced professionals with strong project management and leadership skills.
What you would do
- Lead and manage on-site construction team including foremen and artisans
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and quality standards
- Allocate work based on staff training and capabilities
- Coordinate new construction and major remodeling projects with scheduling and document review
- Monitor and report work progress; manage material stock and orders with the supply chain unit
- Develop labour and material schedules to keep projects within budget; maintain project files and assist in data systems; support handover to Housing unit; maintain customer relations

- HND or BSc in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in construction project supervision, site management or project execution
- Project management and coordination skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Strong knowledge of safety, quality and compliance management
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
