Project / Site Surveyor

About this role

The Project/Site Surveyor conducts accurate surveying, setting-out and data collection for construction projects in Lagos, ensuring works align with approved drawings and specifications. The role collaborates with project team members such as engineers, architects and contractors to support quality construction delivery.

What you would do

• Establish and maintain survey control points and references.
• Set out foundations, columns, walls, roads and other elements from approved drawings.
• Monitor and report on levels, elevations and alignments on site.
• Interpret drawings and translate design information into setting-out requirements.
• Perform as-built surveys and provide survey data for project records and valuations.
• Supervise junior survey staff and coordinate setting-out with the construction programme.

What they are asking for

• BSc/HND in Surveying, Geomatics or related field.
• 5 - 8 years of relevant construction surveying experience.
• Proven ability in setting-out, levelling, coordinates and construction monitoring.
• Experience with total stations, GPS/GNSS and automatic levels.
• Familiarity with architectural, structural and civil drawings.
• Professional registration with SURCON is an advantage where professional practice is involved.
