Project Manager (Nigeria Projects Process Automation)

About this role

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Nigeria-based Process Automation projects. The role involves coordinating project execution, customer engagement, commercial management, and site delivery to ensure safety, on-schedule delivery, and alignment with contracts. The Project Manager will work with customers, contractors, engineering and commissioning teams, and Honeywell leadership from project kick-off to commissioning, handover, and acceptance. Emphasis is on managing risks across safety, schedule, cost, and quality, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

What you would do

• Identify and track project risks related to safety, schedule, cost, quality, and customer commitments and escalate as needed
• Serve as the primary Honeywell interface with customer stakeholders and maintain relationships across project teams
• Manage projects through planning, scheduling, resource coordination, customer deliverables, commissioning, and close-out
• Contribute to project commercial success through contract and change management while monitoring costs, forecasts, risks, and delivery commitments
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, commissioning and field services
• Coordinate installation, commissioning and start-up activities with field resources, contractors and engineering teams

• Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, risk management and project controls
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial automation, engineering, project delivery or capital project environments
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting or managing industrial or infrastructure projects through engineering, execution, commissioning and handover phases
