Project Manager – Multi-Site LPG Bottling & Composite Cylinder / LPG Laboratory

About this role

Stockgap Fuels Limited is seeking a senior engineering and project management professional to lead end-to-end delivery of multiple LPG bottling sites, a composite cylinder plant and an LPG laboratory. The role covers site readiness through installation, commissioning, trial production, certification and final handover. The projects span Abuja and three additional sites, and require coordination with OEM engineers, adherence to execution standards and project controls. The company is involved in distributing refined petroleum products and LPG, sourced from international partners or via a strategic alliance with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. The position is full-time and based in Lagos.

What you would do

• Manage multi-site LPG bottling projects including schedules, budgets, civil works and equipment installation
• Coordinate line and utility completion, trial production, product certification for the cylinder plant and LPG lab
• Maintain cost forecasts, EAC forecasts, risk registers and change logs in the PMIS
• Secure statutory permits from NMDPRA, SON, Fire Service and NESREA
• Ensure HSE plans, permits-to-work, MOC and PSSR are in place before hydrocarbon introduction
• Oversee adherence to project execution standards and ITPs across sites
• Coordinate with OEM engineers for line and utility completion and equipment calibration
• Lead handover activities from construction to operation for LPG facilities
• Ensure quality management and regulatory compliance across projects
• Prepare and maintain project documentation for certification and handover

What they are asking for

• BEng/BSc in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical or Production Engineering
• 10 to 15 years in oil and gas or LPG capital projects
• At least 5 years in a PM or lead engineer role
• Proven track record of taking at least one LPG bottling or cylinder plant from construction to operational handover
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project and EAC forecasting
• Knowledge of NFPA 58 / API 2510, HAZOP, PSSR and MOC
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred; COREN registration an advantage
