Project Manager
About this role
Bravies Homz Limited in Abuja is hiring a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, execute and monitor engineering-related projects. The role involves managing scope, budget, timeline and quality, coordinating technical teams and contractors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director or Head of Operations and provide regular progress updates to management. The company operates in real estate, including property sales and development, and aims to deliver value and customer satisfaction. The position is full-time and based in Abuja (FCT).
What you would do
- Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, objectives, timelines and budgets
- Define milestones and assign responsibilities to team members and contractors
- Coordinate project activities from initiation to completion and monitoring
- Ensure deliverables meet specifications and contractual requirements
- Monitor progress and take corrective action for delays
- Coordinate engineers, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders
- Review drawings, specs, work schedules and related documentation
- Monitor engineering work for alignment with designs and standards
- Prepare and manage project budgets and track expenses
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports and communicate with clients and internal teams
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably with engineering projects
- Experience coordinating technical teams, contractors, schedules and budgets
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management and quality control
- Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or technical documentation is an advantage depending on project type
- Professional project management or engineering certifications are desirable
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to quality and safety
