Project Manager
About this role
A Project Manager role based in Lagos for a full-time position with Appzone Limited, part of Qore and focused on coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver banking and payment software projects. What you would do
- Coordinate with product managers, developers, designers and QA to define project requirements, priorities and milestones
- Manage day-to-day project activities, resources and status update meetings
- Prepare estimates, allocate resources and create detailed project plans for all phases
- Maintain program reports on ongoing and completed projects
- Manage change requests and report on project success metrics, testing and deployment activities
- Identify risks, issues and opportunities for process improvements and ensure proper project prioritisation and assignment
What they are asking for
- 5+ years of project management experience in a cross-functional environment
- Experience gathering requirements from clients and managing full product lifecycle and SDLC concepts
- BSc/BEng in project management, engineering or a related field; higher qualifications or professional certifications are a plus
- Experience delivering financial services or fintech products (lending automation, card issuance, core banking, or agency banking)
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, organisational, time management and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and knowledge of PMP, PRINCE2 or SCRUM certifications preferred
