Project Manager
About this role
A Project Manager role at Westfield Consulting in Lagos, focused on leading bank-wide projects to grow revenue, improve operations and ensure regulatory compliance, with a strong emphasis on financial inclusion initiatives. What you would do
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close projects such as new product launches and core banking upgrades
- Lead product rollouts including micro-loans, group lending, POS/Agent banking, savings, USSD and mobile apps
- Manage core banking integrations with NIBSS, CBN, NIMC, BVN, credit bureaus and payment gateways
- Map AS-IS processes and design TO-BE processes; drive automation to reduce loan turnaround time
- Drive CBN/NDIC compliance projects and manage regulatory scope, timeline and budget
- Coordinate stakeholders across Business, IT, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Vendors; run steering committee meetings and reports
What they are asking for
- First degree with minimum Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit
- Minimum five years’ experience with at least three years in project management in banking, fintech or financial services
- PMP certification is an added advantage
- Knowledge of CBN Microfinance Bank guidelines, AML/CFT, Agency Banking Framework and Financial Inclusion Strategy
- Excellent communication, customer service skills and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office suites
