Project Engineer & Scrum Master

About this role

Code Lab IT & Engineering Services in Abuja is seeking an experienced Project Engineer and Scrum Master to coordinate planning, execution and delivery of technology, engineering, digital, operational and client projects. The role acts as a link between management, project teams, technical staff, clients and vendors to define objectives, assign tasks, remove blockers and ensure timely, quality delivery. It is an on-site role based at the Sabon-Lugbe office in Abuja.

What you would do

• Coordinate planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of technology, engineering, digital, operational and client projects.
• Translate requirements into clear project objectives, tasks, deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across technical, engineering, software, design, marketing, operations and support.
• Identify blockers, risks and dependencies and ensure timely resolution.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to Scrum practices and internal delivery methods.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress updates to management.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in project management, project engineering, technical coordination, operations management or Scrum Master roles.
• Must be above 30 years of age.
• Strong practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum; proven experience as a Scrum Master.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate technical teams across diverse projects, not limited to software.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Azure DevOps or similar.
