Project Engineer – Civil
About this role
RoadLamp Limited seeks a Civil Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and delivery of civil engineering works across its projects in the oil and gas sector. The role is based in Port Harcourt, Rivers, and reports to the Project Execution Lead.
What you would do
- Assist in planning civil engineering works across projects
- Review civil drawings, specifications, scopes of work and method statements
- Coordinate civil activities from planning to completion
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors and site personnel on civil works
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and identify issues
- Maintain project documentation and assist with progress reporting and meetings
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Building/Structural Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar civil/engineering works
- Experience in oil and gas, construction, EPC or EPCIC environments is advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Strong project coordination and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project management applications
