Project Accountant (Hybrid)

A full-time project accountant role based in Lagos (hybrid) for a firm specialised in Odoo ERP implementation. The role focuses on improving client accounting processes within project teams and delivering the client’s system according to brief. What you would do
- Reconcile accounts within an implementation project.
- Review and implement ledgers for assets, liabilities, income, expenses and equity for management information.
- Monitor and review creditors and debtors ledgers.
- Ensure quality, adequacy and accuracy of documentation.
- Ensure accuracy of reconciliation documentation.
- Provide timely and accurate management reports.
- Utilise spreadsheets effectively.
- Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
What they are asking for
- Degree in a relevant discipline with 3 to 4 years of experience.
- Experience recording trading activity and integrating into a system, including trial balance, balance sheet, P&L, general ledger, aged debtors, and chart of accounts verification.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- ICAN certification.
- Ability to create a true trading position from financial statements and verify the chart of accounts.
