Project Accountant (Engineering, Procurement, or Construction Industry Experience)

About this role

A Project Accountant is needed to manage financial and accounting activities for engineering, procurement, and construction projects in Abuja. The role suits candidates with EPC or project-based accounting experience who are able to work in a fast paced environment.

What you would do

• Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers and project accounts
• Process and reconcile invoices, payments, receivables and payables
• Prepare project financial reports, statements and cost analyses
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management for projects
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for EPC projects
• Monitor project costs, budgets, expenses and financial performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience in EPC, engineering, construction, oil & gas or project-based environment
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software
• Based in or willing to work in Abuja
