Project Accountant

About this role

erpSOFTapp seeks a project accountant to join its Lagos team to help improve clients' accounting departments and support ERP implementation projects, including Odoo. The role requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work within a project team to meet the client's brief.

What you would do

• Reconcile accounts within an implementation project
• Review and implement ledgers for assets, liabilities, income, expenses and equity to provide management information
• Monitor and review creditors and debtors ledgers
• Maintain the quality, adequacy and accuracy of documentation
• Produce timely and accurate management reports
• Demonstrate strong spreadsheet skills and manage multiple tasks concurrently, and work under pressure to meet deadlines

What they are asking for

• Degree in a relevant discipline
• 3 to 4 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of IFRS
• ICAN certification
• Ability to record trading activity and implement onto a system; review Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, General Ledger, Aged debtors reports, and verify the full chart of accounts
• Proficiency with spreadsheet software
