What you would do

• Prepare project financial reports, cost analyses and budget variance reports.
• Reconcile project accounts, supplier statements, payment schedules and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with Projects, Procurement, Engineering and Finance teams to validate costs and monitor spending.
• Support project budgeting, cash flow forecasting and cost-control initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures and financial performance to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Track project expenses, commitments, invoices, payments and liabilities.
• Ensure accurate recording and allocation of project costs per budgets and accounting standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness in line with internal controls and policies.

What they are asking for

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in project accounting, construction, engineering, manufacturing or agribusiness.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, financial reporting and account reconciliation.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
