Programmes Associate, Energy, Climate and Environment

About this role

A full-time, on-site programmes role based in Lagos, supporting design, coordination and delivery of energy, climate and environment programmes for projects with government, partners and communities. Suitable for candidates with experience in programme coordination, climate action or sustainability and an interest in integrating data and AI into climate initiatives.

What you would do

• Collect and document programme data and impact indicators
• Contribute to climate and environmental communication materials
• Conduct research on climate change, renewable energy and related trends
• Assist with grant and donor reporting requirements
• Plan, coordinate and implement Energy, Climate and Environmental programmes
• Support stakeholder mapping and engagement with relevant partners and agencies

What they are asking for

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, research, climate action, sustainability, energy or related field
• Master's degree or professional certification in a relevant field is an added advantage
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in report and proposal writing
• Strong research, analytical and written/verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
