About this role

Rise Networks in Lagos is hiring a Programmes Associate for Energy, Climate and Environment. The role supports the design, coordination, implementation, research and monitoring of programmes on climate action, clean energy, environmental sustainability, and sustainable development, working with government agencies, development partners, researchers and private-sector organisations.

What you would do

• Plan Energy, Climate and Environmental programmes.
• Conduct research on climate change, renewable energy, energy transition and sustainability.
• Assist in developing proposals, concept notes, reports and policy briefs.
• Organise workshops, conferences and trainings.
• Track milestones, deliverables, timelines and budgets.
• Collect and analyse programme data and impact indicators.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, research, climate action, sustainability, energy, environmental development, or related field.
• A Master's degree or professional certification in a relevant field is an added advantage.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; report and proposal writing.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management; data collection and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools.
