What you would do
- Operate and monitor PLC-controlled feedmill equipment for smooth production
- Ensure correct ingredient dosing, batching sequences, and adherence to feed formulations
- Monitor control panels, alarms, parameters, and equipment performance and resolve issues
- Control grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting, cooling, and packaging processes
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety, housekeeping, and equipment guidelines
- Troubleshoot PLC faults and coordinate with maintenance to fix electrical, mechanical, and automation problems
- Coordinate with production, quality control and maintenance teams to meet targets and quality standards
- Maintain production records, batch reports, downtime logs, and other documentation
