AE-FUNAI in Ebonyi State invites applications for the role of Professor in Quantity Surveying. What you would do
- Contribute to teaching in Quantity Surveying within the faculty
- Lead and conduct research in the candidate’s area of specialization
- Publish in Category A journals and other indexed journals
- Supervise postgraduate students and mentor junior staff as appropriate
- Participate in academic and administrative service within the university
- Prepare and deliver lectures and course materials
- Engage in curriculum development and assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and grants
- Provide expert input on examinations and quality assurance
- Represent the university in professional and academic activities as required
What they are asking for
- Minimum of six papers in Category A journals
- At least two papers in journals indexed in Clarivate Analytics
- Four papers in journals indexed in SJR or SNIP
- Three papers in Category A journals in the candidate’s area of specialization
- PhD or equivalent terminal qualification in Quantity Surveying or a closely related field
- Evidence of substantial research and teaching experience
- Experience with supervision of postgraduate students (preferred)
