Production Technologist
About this role
A Production Technologist role based in Lagos, supporting OML 30 wells and fields throughout their lifecycle. It targets candidates with substantial oil and gas production technology experience who can contribute to field development, surveillance, optimisation and regulatory reporting.
What you would do
- Contribute to field development planning and decommissioning activities.
- Support well completion, intervention and workover planning and execution.
- Conduct production and reservoir surveillance to optimise production.
- Analyse production data and recommend cost-effective optimisation strategies.
- Monitor production parameters and ensure operation within approved envelopes.
- Assist with regulatory reporting, reconciliation and data submission to regulators.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor of Engineering with at least Second Class Lower honours; Master's is an advantage.
- Engineering background in Petroleum, Gas or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant oil and gas experience.
- IWCF Well Intervention certification.
- Professional membership or registration (NSE, COREN, P.Eng. or SPE).
- Strong knowledge of well completion, workover, intervention planning and reservoir management.
