Production Pharmacist
About this role
A Production Pharmacist is needed to oversee the manufacture of intravenous fluids in a large volume parenterals plant in Ilorin, Kwara. The role requires ensuring GMP and aseptic processing, compliance with regulations, and supervision of production staff for sterile, batch-based operations.
What you would do
- Prepare production reports with KPIs and yield data.
- Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, cGMP and SOPs.
- Coordinate calibration, validation and maintenance of production equipment.
- Manage materials from warehouse to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
- Supervise daily production activities including batch manufacturing, sterilisation, filling and packaging.
- Train and supervise staff to follow safety, hygiene and SOP standards.
What they are asking for
- Registered with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in liquid lines or sterile manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills; proficient in MS Office.
