Production Manager

What you would do
- Oversee daily production operations
- Ensure production targets are achieved on daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Maintain product quality standards and safety procedures
- Minimise production downtime and material wastage
- Optimise resource use and equipment utilisation
- Monitor production performance and KPIs
- Manage and develop the production workforce
- Ensure accurate production documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines
- Address production issues and implement improvements
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Food Science or related discipline
- 5–8 years of relevant FMCG/manufacturing production experience
- 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial production role
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimisation and manufacturing operations
- Understanding of GMP, quality control, safety and production documentation
- Experience managing production teams and monitoring performance indicators
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/production management systems is an added advantage
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
