Production Manager

About this role

Benid Industries Limited, a Nigerian manufacturing company known for alcoholic beverages, is recruiting for a Production Manager. The role is full-time and based in Ondo State, Nigeria. The candidate will oversee production processes for beverages, ensuring quality in line with approved procedures, and manage blending, formulation control, filtration, filling, and packaging operations. Preference is given to candidates with professional training in production or quality management and at least five years of relevant experience in alcoholic beverages, brewing, distilling, or FMCG manufacturing. A minimum of an HND or BSc in a relevant science or engineering field is required.

What you would do

• Oversee beverage production processes from blending to packaging.
• Assess sensory characteristics in line with quality procedures.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, quality assurance and safety standards.
• Monitor and improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Coordinate filling, bottling or packaging operations.
• Implement process controls and quality measures as part of production management.
• Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to optimise output.
• Maintain documentation and records for production activities.
• Identify training needs and support skill development for staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production.
