Production Engineer (LVP Infusion Plant)
About this role
A full-time Production Engineer for the Large Volume Parenterals infusion plant based in Ilorin, Kwara. The role focuses on ensuring continuous, sterile, and compliant operation of IV fluid manufacturing equipment, with emphasis on automation, power management, maintenance and regulatory compliance for LVP production. Experience in LVP pharmaceutical production is preferred.
What you would do
- Troubleshoot and program PLCs, SCADA systems and VFDs used in fluid preparation and packaging.
- Maintain logs of electrical inspections, calibrations and ISO documentation.
- Supervise electrical power systems including switchgears, transformers, generators and UPS.
- Ensure machinery and facilities meet GMP, WHO and local regulatory standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis on machine faults and implement improvements.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on critical equipment such as autoclaves and water purification systems.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.
- Experience preferred in Large Volume Parenterals pharmaceutical production.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with industrial instrumentation, relay logic, control panels and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
