What you would do
- Maintain accurate financial records for production-related transactions and produce timely reports.
- Track and analyse production costs (materials, labour, overhead) per SKU to inform margins and pricing.
- Assist with cash flow planning and monitor working capital linked to production and inventory cycles.
- Ensure production financial activities comply with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to production budgeting and monitor actual performance against plan.
- Maintain internal controls around inventory, expenses and cost recording to safeguard assets.
- Provide actionable financial insights to production and management to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain accurate, integrated financial data across accounting and production systems.
- Support audits and provide data as needed.
- Collaborate with production, procurement and finance teams to support budgeting and cost control.
