Product Support Sales Representative (Marine)
About this role
A product support sales role in the marine sector for Mantrac Nigeria, focused on achieving sales targets, growing parts and service business, and maintaining customer relationships in the Rivers region. It targets applicants with prior marine or related industry sales experience and technical knowledge of engines and spare parts.
What you would do
- Visit customers in the region to prospect for parts, unit sales and service opportunities
- Sell and implement product support programmes on a regular basis
- Ensure prompt delivery of parts or services and related invoices to support customer satisfaction and timely payment
- Prepare and implement weekly call plans and report outcomes
- Keep customer profiles up to date and share product/service information with customers and staff
- Resolve customer complaints and contribute to maintaining goodwill and confidence in the products and dealership
What they are asking for
- HND or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, Agricultural or Marine Engineering from a recognised institution
- At least 5 years of prime product or product support sales experience in Marine, Oil & Gas or a related industry
- Hands-on engine maintenance and repairs experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Product knowledge of spare parts
- Ability to drive
- Experience in debt collection or financial accountability is a plus
