About this role

Estuary Business Solutions (EBS) Limited is a Nigerian business consulting and technology services firm seeking a Product Specialist. The role acts as the liaison among clients, business stakeholders, software developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products that meet business goals and offer good user experiences. The position involves translating business needs into functional product specifications, supporting product development and lifecycle management, and driving new product ideas by analysing market trends and potential technology partnerships. It also includes coordinating across the SDLC, conducting market research, and supporting implementation and post-launch activities. The role is based in Ikoyi, Lagos and is a full-time engagement.</summary

What you would do

• Bridge communication between clients, stakeholders and technical teams to ensure product delivery.
• Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support development work across the SDLC with engineers, UI/UX designers, QA and DevOps.
• Assist in prioritising features and developing product roadmaps and vision.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate features against requirements.
• Review design options for solutions and assess usability, security and scalability.
• Track delivery, risks and benefits, and support implementation, training and go-live.
• Research market trends, OEM opportunities and partnership options for new revenue streams.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, gather feedback and support solution demonstrations.
• Analyse product performance and identify improvement opportunities and automation potential.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in product management, product ownership or business analysis.
• Experience in IT consulting, software development, system integration or digital transformation environments.
• Proficiency with SDLC, wireframing, process mapping and collaboration tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Confluence, MS Office, Visio).
• Experience with REST APIs and system integrations; understanding of cloud-based applications and enterprise software.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, user story development and backlog management.
• Ability to draft BRDs/FRS and maintain traceability; strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Exposure to product discovery, market intelligence, OEM partnerships or build-vs-buy considerations is a plus.
