About this role
A Product Manager for Supabase Auth will own the developer-facing authentication and identity features, including email, phone, social logins, passkeys, MFA, enterprise SSO, the OAuth 2.1 server, auth hooks, and multi-tenant support. The role involves collaborating with the Auth engineering team and cross-functional partners to shape the Auth roadmap and developer experience. You will analyse usage data to prioritise work and align engineering, design and GTM plans. What you would do
- Collaborate with customers of varying sizes to understand needs and feedback on Auth features.
- Own problem statements and solution rationale for the Auth roadmap with Engineering and Design.
- Define how Auth works for AI agents on Supabase and their authentication flows.
- Use data to assess how developers use Auth features and prioritise initiatives.
- Maintain alignment between Engineering, Design and GTM and manage the plan of record for upcoming work.
What they are asking for
- 5+ years of Product Management experience on developer tools or equivalent experience as an ex-founder.
- Experience shipping standards-based auth or identity products; familiarity with OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, sessions or token design.
- Ability to work with corporate buyers and developers and handle security reviews and bug reports.
- Comfort with Postgres and familiarity with row-level security.
- Strong written communication and async work style; able to make decisions in writing.
