About this role
We are seeking a Product Manager for Administration and Governance to shape how Supabase is used as an internal development platform within organisations. The role focuses on enabling self-service access while providing IT, platform, and security controls so teams can move quickly and safely from experiment to production. You will define the strategy and roadmap for internal adoption, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and turn early rollouts into scalable, repeatable experiences. The position is remote and global, with a focus on developer tools and internal platform governance. Supabase provides a fully remote work setup, equity, benefits, and a culture of asynchronous collaboration.
What you would do
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for internal adoption and governance from initial rollout to company-wide usage.
- Enable self-service onboarding for projects via internal portals or agents without needing IT tickets.
- Consolidate usage across the organisation into a single platform view and define ownership, access, and boundaries.
- Collaborate with platform, IT, security and finance to define identity, policy, audit, and spend controls.
- Define the move-from-experiment-to-production path, including guardrails and ownership models.
- Work with Engineering, Design, Sales and Customer Success to scale early deployments into repeatable experiences.
- Define success metrics and instrument end-to-end to drive product decisions based on data.
- Incorporate feedback to balance speed of delivery with governance requirements.
- Promote asynchronous, written decision-making in a fully remote team.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline research, drafting and feedback synthesis.
What they are asking for
- 7+ years of product management experience in developer tools, infrastructure or internal developer platforms.
- Experience building self-service products trusted by developers and IT teams.
- Understanding of identity, permissions, organisation boundaries and usage attribution.
- Strong viewpoint on agents changing how software is built within a company and internal platform needs.
- Familiar with controlled experimentation and data analysis to link adoption with sustained use.
- Bias towards shipping and iterative improvement over perfecting a spec.
- Experience from creating projects to configuring policies and governance.
- Ability to work async and communicate in writing in a remote team.
