Product Manager
About this role
The Product Manager will oversee a product line from idea to launch, coordinating activities across departments to improve existing products and develop new ones for Assets Microfinance Bank in Lagos. The role involves defining market needs, creating roadmaps, and managing go-to-market plans and pricing while liaising with Sales, Marketing and Technology teams.
What you would do
- Manage the full product life cycle from strategy to go-to-market execution.
- Define market requirements and gather stakeholder feedback through market research.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap and short- and long-term enhancements.
- Create wireframes and SRS, and prepare product-related requirements documents.
- Coordinate product launches and interdepartmental activities with marketing and training teams.
- Monitor pricing, revenue targets and profitability; prepare product messaging and communications.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, IT or related field
- Master's degree/MBA is an added advantage
- 5 to 7 years' experience in product management or development, preferably in microfinance, bank or fintech
- Experience managing product lifecycle from research to launch and performance review
- Knowledge of microfinance products and digital banking solutions
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration with tech and business analysis teams
