Product Lead, Trust and Compliance (Hybrid)

About this role

Chowdeck is seeking a Product Lead for Trust and Compliance to own the product systems around KYC, fraud detection, investigation and containment for customers, vendors, riders and agents. The role aims to unify policy, legal and financial risk requirements into usable product experiences, with a focus on visibility, rapid action, and reducing recurring loopholes. The position reports to the Product Executive and requires collaboration with engineering, data teams and external partners. The role is based in Ikoyi, Lagos with hybrid work arrangements. No legal qualification is required, but precise collaboration with legal and regulatory needs is essential.

What you would do

• Set the product strategy and roadmap for KYC, fraud visibility and containment.
• Translate policy and regulatory requirements into practical product experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to build monitors, alerts and automated controls.
• Coordinate containment activities such as freezes, recalls and recovery.
• Maintain a recurring-loophole register and drive cross-team fixes.
• Ensure readiness for new products and markets in trust and compliance.
• Define and track measures for detection, containment, impact and recovery.
• Provide investigators with necessary evidence access while protecting sensitive data.
• Coordinate root-cause fixes across product areas and escalate risks with recommendations.
• Define escalation, severity rules and close-out processes for investigations.
