Product Lead, Consumer (Hybrid)

About this role

Chowdeck is seeking a Product Lead, Consumer for a hybrid role based in Ikoyi, Lagos. The role involves owning the end‑to‑end consumer experience, from app discovery to order tracking, and leading a cross‑functional product team to turn goals into a clear roadmap. The position reports to the Product Executive and may manage Product Managers as the team grows. It focuses on defining outcomes, prioritising work, and delivering improvements to retention, conversion and reliability across Chowdeck’s consumer products. The job requires deep understanding of customer needs, data, and operational realities to guide product strategy and launches in new markets.

What you would do

• Define outcomes and guardrails for conversion, retention, reliability and customer delight.
• Use customer research, product data, support feedback and operational insight to prioritise problems to solve.
• Set the product strategy and maintain a prioritised roadmap for the Consumer team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to take problems from discovery through launch, measurement and iteration.
• Coordinate dependencies with other functional teams.
• Make explicit trade‑offs when new requests compete with committed work.
• Communicate progress, risks, decisions and learnings to leadership and partner teams.
