Product Lead, Consumer
About this role
Chowdeck is a technology company delivering logistics services for vendors and consumers, enabling vendors to offer meal delivery and giving customers a platform to order from restaurants. The Product Lead, Consumer owns the end-to-end customer experience from app discovery to order tracking and completion, and leads a cross-functional product team. The role is a domain leadership position reporting to the Product Executive, with potential to manage Product Managers as the team grows. You will set strategy, build and maintain a prioritised roadmap, and drive customer-focused delivery across consumer products.
What you would do
- Set the product strategy and maintain a prioritised roadmap for the Consumer team.
- Use customer research, product data, support feedback and operational insight to identify important problems to solve.
- Work with cross-functional partners to take problems from discovery through launch, measurement and iteration.
- Define outcomes and guardrails for conversion, retention, reliability and customer delight.
- Coordinate dependencies with other functional teams.
- Make explicit trade-offs when new requests compete with committed work.
- Communicate progress, risks, decisions and learnings to leadership and partner teams.
What they are asking for
- At least 6 years of product management experience, including ownership of consumer-facing mobile or web products at meaningful scale.
- Track record of setting product direction, prioritising across competing needs and leading cross-functional delivery.
- Strong judgement across customer experience, business value, operational complexity and technical constraints.
- Comfort using both quantitative and qualitative evidence.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining decisions and trade-offs.
- High level of ownership and willingness to stay close to customers and operational reality.
