Product Development Manager (PDM)
About this role
Stova Industries Ltd in Lagos is seeking a Product Development Manager to coordinate the full product lifecycle from ideation and research through development, validation, commercialization and continuous improvement. The role covers product development across Air Care, Home Care, Personal Care and Soap and Detergent categories, and involves moving batches from lab testing to full-scale manufacturing. The position requires collaboration with multiple departments to ensure products meet regulatory and market requirements.
What you would do
- Oversee product development activities across Air Care, Home Care, Personal Care, Soap and Detergent categories
- Supervise the transition of chemical batches from bench-scale lab testing to pilot plants and full-scale manufacturing lines
- Own the complete product development lifecycle from research and ideation to launch and commercialisation
- Plan and coordinate internal and external product validation activities to assess performance, consumer acceptance and market suitability
- Ensure formulations, specifications, manufacturing processes and supporting documentation comply with NAFDAC, Nigerian standards and applicable international standards
- Work with R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Quality Control, Production and Supply Chain to ensure seamless transition from concept to commercial manufacturing

- At least 3 years' experience managing product lifecycles and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Experience with strategic road mapping
