What you would do
- Set a clear product design vision and translate it into practical standards for the team.
- Coach designers through discovery, interaction design, prototyping, validation and delivery.

- Partner with functional leads to shape problems early, beyond just reviewing final interfaces.
- Build and maintain the design system with ownership and adoption expectations.
- Improve how customer research and operational insights inform product decisions.
- Plan design capacity, identify hiring needs and ensure priority teams receive support.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines while maintaining clear ownership of the product experience.
- Lead the central Product Design function and help shape designer assignments as the organisation grows.
- Ensure high-quality, consistent design support across product teams and early design involvement
What they are asking for

- At least 2 years of leading, managing or mentoring product designers and improving team quality.
- Strong experience designing complex mobile and web products with a portfolio showing process and decisions.
- Strong interaction, systems and visual design judgement.
- Experience partnering with other functions from discovery to launch.
- Ability to switch between strategic direction, critique and hands-on design.
- Clear communication, empathy, high standards and ability to give direct, useful feedback.
