What you would do
- Assist in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements for software issues and enhancements.
- Investigate and diagnose software-related problems reported by clients and provide timely resolutions or escalate as needed.
- Use analytical tools to identify patterns, root causes and improvement areas in the software.
- Assist in testing and quality assurance to validate fixes and enhancements before deployment.
- Maintain documentation of resolution processes, troubleshooting steps and customer interactions.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and informing clients about issue progress.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate updates on support issues and solutions.
- Create training materials, FAQs and best practice documents for clients and staff.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team and organisation.
- Take part in team activities and act in an acting capacity when required for career growth.
What they are asking for
- Degree-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, B-Com or similar (highly regarded).
- Information technology or software business analysis certification.
- Knowledge of insurance and/or accounting is an added advantage.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and business process modelling.
- Experience in defining requirements, designing, configuring and testing software products.
- Experience with TurnQuest Insurance Suite is an added advantage.
