Caava Group is hiring a Product / Delivery Business Analyst for a hybrid role in Lagos. The position involves assisting with project planning, defining scope, and coordinating between clients and development teams to ensure clear, documented requirements that translate into software solutions. The role requires strong knowledge of business processes, good communication, and proactive problem-solving. The analyst will support incident management, quality assurance, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, while also contributing to personal and team development within an agile environment.

What you would do

• Assist in incident management by informing users of progress and solutions
• Perform first-line diagnosis of incidents or service requests
• Execute test scripts under supervision and participate in QA activities
• Document system content to support organisational learning
• Close resolved incidents, requests and calls, and escalate where necessary
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and document detailed business requirements
• Create training materials, FAQs, and best-practice documents
• Use analytical tools to identify patterns, root causes, and areas for improvement
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of resolution processes and customer interactions
• Assist in testing and QA to validate fixes before deployment

What they are asking for

• Degree-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, B-Com, or similar (highly regarded)
• Certification in information technology or software business analysis
• Experience defining requirements, designing, configuring, and testing software products
• Understanding of business process modelling and software development methodologies
• Knowledge of TurnQuest Insurance Suite is an added advantage
• Knowledge of insurance and/or accounting is an added advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment
• Proven ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated problem-solving and proactive approach to tasks
