About this role
Turnkey Africa Limited is looking for an entry level Product / Delivery Business Analyst in Lagos. The role serves as a bridge between clients and development teams, ensuring project requirements are well defined and translated into software solutions. The successful candidate will assist with project planning, scope management, and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, while supporting incident handling, quality assurance and documentation. The employer provides insurance and bancassurance technology and services to clients across Africa, with a focus on software solutions for the insurance industry.
What you would do
- Assist in first line diagnosis of incident and service request details
- Help close resolved incidents, requests and other calls
- Investigate and diagnose software-related problems reported by clients and escalate as needed
- Assist in testing and QA activities to validate fixes before deployment
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to share updates and coordinate solutions
- Document system content to support learning in the organisation
- Execute test scripts under supervision and understand their role in development
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of issue resolution processes and customer interactions
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and document detailed business requirements
- Assist interns during their internship programme and take part in team activities for value delivery
What they are asking for
- Certification in information technology or software business analysis
- Knowledge of insurance and/or accounting is an added advantage
- Experience with TurnQuest Insurance Suite is an added advantage
- Ability to define requirements, design, configure and test software products
- Understanding of software development methodologies
- Degree level qualification in IT, computer science, BCom or related fields is highly regarded
- Understanding of business process modelling
- Strong written communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to participate in performance management and personal development
- Ability to work in an agile team and take on acting responsibilities as needed
