What you would do
- Supervise the purchasing department activities
- Prepare plans for purchasing cake production supplies
- Follow and enforce procurement policies and procedures
- Review, compare, analyse and approve products and services to be purchased
- Manage inventories and maintain purchase and pricing records
- Maintain supplier information and assess delivery times and product ranges
- Maintain good supplier relations and negotiate contracts
- Research and evaluate prospective suppliers
- Prepare budgets, cost analyses and reports
- Work from the office with some Sunday and public holiday duties
