Procurement Supply Officer / Lead
About this role
A full-time Procurement Supply Officer/Lead role based in Lagos for candidates with substantial oil and gas procurement experience. The position involves managing procurement, supplier relations, and ensuring compliant, cost-effective sourcing for operations.
What you would do
- Source and evaluate suppliers and negotiate terms
- Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules and supplier performance
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier database
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Logistics and Project teams to ensure timely supply
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, and select suppliers
- Monitor costs, plan procurement activities, and resolve supplier issues and delays
What they are asking for
- Bachelors or HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
- 5–7 years of procurement/supply chain experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience with ERP/procurement systems
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas procurement processes and vendor management
- Professional certification such as CIPS, CIPSMN or equivalent is an advantage
- Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
