About this role

What you would do

• Interpret client supply chain requirements and plan actions.
• Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers.
• Purchase materials, goods, and services based on client specifications.
• Evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals or quotations with the Supply Chain Manager.
• Negotiate delivery conditions and prices with suppliers.
• Interpret inventory requests and production schedules for purchasing decisions.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of delivered materials and follow up on purchase orders.
• Track and communicate order status to clients.

What they are asking for

• First degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Social Sciences or a numerical field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years' experience in supply chain, logistics or warehousing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a small team and strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
