Procurement Specialist (Branch Roll-out Projects)

About this role

A Procurement Specialist is responsible for end-to-end strategic sourcing and real estate procurement to support Moniepoint MFB’s nationwide branch rollout and branch experience centres in Lagos and other states. The role acts as the commercial lead for CapEx and real estate growth, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to secure properties and manage contracts.

What you would do

• Lead market searches and evaluate real estate assets for branch expansion.
• Negotiate commercial leases and acquisitions with favourable terms.
• Collaborate with legal and estate surveyors to perform due diligence on properties.
• Develop and manage a centralized procurement strategy and pre-qualify vendors for construction and related services.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to review drawings, monitor costs, and identify value-saving opportunities.
• Manage tendering, contract administration, and vendor onboarding for compliance and performance.

• 4 to 7 years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience with capital projects, corporate real estate acquisitions, or large-scale fit-outs.
• Experience in real estate searches, site selections, and lease negotiations for major refurbishments.
• Prior procurement experience in banking, fintech with branch rollouts, or large construction/project management firms (Nigeria).
• Knowledge of commercial property markets, leasing laws, and cost analysis (BOQ).
• Proficiency with ERP/e-procurement tools and project management software.
