About this role
Procurement Specialist (Branch Roll-out Projects) will lead end-to-end procurement for Moniepoint MFB’s nationwide branch rollout, covering real estate acquisition, lease negotiations, vendor onboarding and contract management. The role is based in Lagos with oversight across Nigeria’s branch expansion.
What you would do
- Lead the search, identification, and evaluation of real estate assets across target states to support expansion.
- Negotiate and secure commercial leases with competitive rents, favourable fit-out periods, flexible renewal clauses, and long-term tenure security.
- Coordinate due diligence with Legal and estate surveyors to verify land titles and absence of encumbrances before acquisitions.
- Develop and implement a centralised procurement strategy for nationwide branch rollouts and retrofits.
- Establish and manage a vendor matrix for construction professionals, civil works sub-contractors, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review technical drawings, monitor costs, and identify value engineering opportunities.

- 4–7 years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with a track record in capital projects, real estate acquisitions, interior fit-out procurement, or commercial building construction.
- Real estate expertise in commercial property searches, site selections, corporate acquisitions, and high-stakes lease negotiations for major refurbishments.
- Industry focus in procurement within a commercial bank (preferably managing branch network rollouts), fintech, or tier-1 construction/project management firms in Nigeria.
- Experience across Nigeria's regions (North-Central, South-East, South-West, North-West, etc.).
