What you would do

• Negotiate prices and payment terms within approved limits
• Coordinate purchasing, transportation and delivery of supplies to the site
• Receive approved purchase requests and confirm specifications with the requesting department
• Resolve issues like shortages, damaged deliveries and supplier discrepancies
• Work with Finance to reconcile purchases, payments and outstanding balances
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations and compare prices, quality and delivery terms
• Verify quantities and specifications with the Storekeeper on delivery
• Maintain supplier records, purchase orders, invoices and procurement reports
• Obtain required approvals before committing to purchases
• Monitor recurring needs and market prices to prevent shortages and extra expenditure

• OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong negotiation and recordkeeping skills
• Basic spreadsheet skills
• High integrity and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel to the Siwaju site as required
• Knowledge of suppliers and markets in Ibadan and surrounding areas
• At least two years of relevant procurement experience; agricultural experience is an advantage
