Procurement Officer
About this role
A Procurement Officer is needed by AAA Medi-Calibrations Limited, a medical equipment, laboratory, IVF and healthcare solutions company operating in Nigeria and West Africa. The role involves managing stock and procurement processes, coordinating with logistics partners, and supporting sales activities with quotations. What you would do
- Escalate supply or pricing concerns to management when needed
- Maintain daily and weekly stock cards and stock levels
- Prepare procurement reports on weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual bases
- Support inventory planning by monitoring stock movement, re-order levels and expiry dates
- Attend to incoming mails and calls regularly
- Support Sales activities with quotations
- Coordinate shipping, clearance and delivery with logistics partners and clearing agents
- Follow up with distributors on order acknowledgement and delivery timelines
- Ensure procurement activities comply with pricing, specifications and internal authorisation
- Process approved purchase requisitions and raise purchase orders for approved needs
What they are asking for
- Organised and able to follow up without reminders
- CIPS membership is a plus
- Experience with customs clearance and dealing with foreign suppliers
- Clear written English for communication with suppliers in Europe and Asia
- Strong Excel skills and good record-keeping
- 2–4 years in procurement, preferably B2B sales
- HND or BSc in Purchasing & Supply, Business Admin, Sciences or related field
