Procurement Officer
About this role
AAA Medi-Calibrations Limited is a Lagos-based provider of medical equipment calibration and compliance services. They are seeking a detail-oriented Sales and Order Fulfillment Officer to support sales operations and customer experience. The role involves processing purchase requisitions and orders, coordinating with distributors and logistics partners, and assisting with quotations, inventory planning, and reporting. What you would do
- Process incoming mails and calls on an hourly basis
- Process approved purchase requisitions and raise purchase orders
- Ensure purchase orders align with approved pricing, specifications and internal authorisation
- Follow up with distributors on order acknowledgement and delivery timelines
- Resolve order related issues such as delays, shortages, wrong deliveries or damaged goods
- Escalate supply or pricing concerns to management
- Collaborate with Store and Technical Department on stock requirements and delivery priorities
- Support sales activities with quotations
- Monitor stock movement, re-order levels and expiry dates for inventory planning
- Coordinate shipping, clearing and delivery with logistics partners and clearing agents
What they are asking for
- HND or BSc in Purchasing & Supply, Business Admin, Sciences or related field
- 2 to 4 years in procurement, preferably B2B sales
- Hands-on experience with customs clearance and dealing with foreign suppliers
- Strong Excel skills and good record-keeping
- Clear written English and ability to communicate with suppliers in Europe and Asia
- Organised, proactive, able to follow up independently and remain calm with delays
- CIPS/CI PSMN membership is a plus
