What you would do

• Source suppliers of scraps and raw materials
• Follow guidelines for price quotes, bidding, and vendor selection
• Procure goods for the company
• Update and maintain the supplier list/database
• Engage with suppliers and manage relationships
• Discuss contracts and engagement terms via the Manager
• Evaluate quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services
• Monitor supplier deliveries and timelines for scrap materials
• Prepare and send weekly or monthly reports
• Maintain procurement KPIs and reporting timelines

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
• Experience in procuring aluminium scraps is required
• Around 4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement for a recycling facility
• Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
• Interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage time, organise, and multitask
• Leadership abilities and teamwork mindset
