Procurement Officer

About this role

Collection Developments is seeking a Procurement Officer to support procurement activities for its property projects. The role targets professionals with procurement or logistics coordination experience, and involves maintaining records, processing orders, coordinating deliveries and assisting with tender packaging.

What you would do

• Maintain the procurement register and update delivery dates, vessel ETAs, and on-site arrival confirmations daily.
• Process all purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery instructions under the direction of the Procurement Manager.
• Maintain supplier and vendor contact files and manage routine vendor correspondence.
• Track import shipments by monitoring vessel tracking, liaising with the clearing agent on documentation requirements, and informing the Procurement Manager of clearance issues.
• Manage delivery documentation by matching delivery notes to purchase orders, flagging discrepancies and maintaining delivery records for the quantity surveying team.
• Coordinate with the Site Logistics Coordinator on expected delivery dates and on-site reception arrangements.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of procurement or logistics coordination experience; construction industry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement management software.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented.
• Proactive in chasing outstanding deliveries and flagging issues to the Procurement Manager.
• Good written communication for vendor correspondence.
