Procurement Officer
About this role
A Procurement Officer is needed to manage sourcing, purchasing, vendor relationships and procurement documentation, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement for the company in Ogun. The role targets candidates with prior procurement experience and related qualifications.
What you would do
- Source and procure goods and services based on company requirements
- Identify, evaluate and manage suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality and delivery timelines
- Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain procurement records
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Collaborate with Stores, Finance, Production and other departments to meet procurement needs

- HND or BSc in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience (manufacturing experience advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP

- Ability to work under pressure and meet procurement deadlines
