Procurement Officer

About this role

Micdee Designs Limited is looking for a Procurement Officer based in Lagos to source and manage materials, furniture, fittings, equipment and services for interior fit-out and design and build projects. What you would do

• Source materials, furniture, fittings, equipment and services for projects.
• Coordinate inspection and verification of delivered materials against specifications and quantities.
• Maintain procurement records including quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices.
• Obtain and analyse quotations, negotiate prices, and recommend suppliers.
• Monitor procurement expenditure against project budgets and flag overruns.
• Track purchase orders and deliveries to avoid on-site delays.
• Support inventory monitoring and coordination across project sites.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports on status, supplier performance, costs, deliveries and risks.
• Identify and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with budgets, approvals and company policies.

• BSc or HND in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience in interior fit-out or design and build industries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and procurement/inventory tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines; strong attention to detail.
• Experience interpreting BOQs, specifications and procurement requirements.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and cost-analysis skills.
• Familiarity with local suppliers in the interior fit-out and construction sectors.
• High integrity, accountability and commercial awareness.
