Procurement Officer
About this role
A full-time Procurement Officer role based in IJora, Lagos, handling sourcing, purchasing and supplier negotiations for the organisation's food and beverage operations. It targets candidates with relevant procurement experience and a background in business or hospitality-related fields who can manage costs and supplier relationships.
What you would do
- Secure products and services at competitive prices without compromising quality or service
- Assist kitchen staff to optimise raw material costs and control expenses
- Source, negotiate and liaise with vendors and suppliers on price and specifications
- Review, negotiate and agree contracts while monitoring service and product quality
- Ensure all orders are received, accounted for, and processed in physical and internal systems
- Maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
What they are asking for
- Minimum OND/HND in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Accounting, Hospitality Management or related field
- At least 2 years' experience as a Procurement Officer in food and beverage, culinary or related area
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent numerical and detail orientation
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- MS Office and knowledge of ERP software considered an advantage
