Procurement Manager
About this role
Westbridge Energy and Lubricants, Lagos, is seeking a Procurement Manager to source goods and services, negotiate contracts, and manage suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing while upholding quality standards and timely delivery. The role is intended for candidates with proven procurement and purchasing experience, preferably from manufacturing, and with relevant qualifications.
What you would do
- Identify, evaluate and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, price and delivery speed
- Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts
- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast needs
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, business management or related field
- Professional certifications are an added advantage
- Proven experience in procurement and purchasing, preferably from a manufacturing company
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
